BAD TAGS RESULT IN DUI
Officers stopped a vehicle for registration violation. Upon contact with the driver officers noticed a strong odor of alcohol coming from the vehicle. At the conclusion of a DUI investigation the driver was arrested for suspicion of drunk driving. The driver had a blood alcohol content of .09. He was booked into the Solano County jail without incident.
OUTSTANDING “NO BAIL” WARRANT SERVED
Officers responded to a disturbance in the 600 block of State Route 12. Upon arrival two subjects were arguing and were being uncooperative. One of the subjects was arrested for an outstanding “no bail” warrant for DUI out of Contra Costa County. The subject was booked into the Solano County jail without incident.
UNLAWFUL SEXUAL INTERCOURSE WITH MINOR
Officers responded to a report of a unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor. During the investigation, officers learned a 24-year-old male from Contra Costa County had consensual sex in Rio Vista with a 14-year-old female. The male had portrayed himself online as 18 years old. Following a substantial investigation, the suspect was located and arrested at his residence in Lafayette, and was booked into the Contra Costa County jail without incident. The case has been forwarded to the District Attorney’s office for review.
PAINT SCRATCHED DOWN TO PRIMER
Officers responded to a report of a vandalism of a vehicle parked on St. Gertrude Ave. Upon arrival, officers found that someone scratched the paint on the vehicle all the way down to the primer. This incident is still under investigation.
FIESTA DAYS CELEBRATION RESULTS IN MOTORIST’S ARREST
As part of a county-wide grant, officer from RVPD worked an anti-DUI patrol in Vacaville as part of that city’s Fiesta Days celebration. Our officers issued a number of citations for safety-related violations and arrested one motorist for driving while under the influence of alcohol.
