When Jim Fenton tells people about what they do at Snodgrass Solutions, folks don’t always get it.
“People are like, you don’t get paid?” he said. “We do it for the love of the environment and keeping the Delta clean and safe.” |

Walnut Grove Rotary presents renovations to Jean Harvie Center |

It is a shame that there isn’t a public seating section at Walnut Grove Rotary meetings. The gathering of Rotarians is not only a driving force in Delta affairs regarding community stewardship, but moreover it is a perfect example of Delta fellowship and camaraderie - the likes of which should be perpetuated through, if not just the region then, the entire country. |

A deluge of dining: This summer’s Delta culinary hotspots |

Just as diverse as the array of individuals that call the estuary home, the Delta plays home to a fantastic collection of dining opportunities that certainly cover a respectable portion of the culinary spectrum. While every town in the region offers a collective of bars, restaurants and various other food dispensaries nowhere else is the availability of culinary adventure in the region more concentrated than in Isleton and the Delta Loop. |

Rio Vista Mural project underway |

The Rio Vista Fire Department Mural is well underway, as artist Nick Stiles works to complete the project before heading back to Long Beach in July. The first project of hopefully many within Rio Vista, Stiles painted a mural last year on Second St. – which spurned interest in the current historical mural. |

Senior Center FREE Ice Cream Social |

The Rio Vista Citizens for Seniors invites the community to a free ice cream social on June 13 from 1:30-3 p.m. Come and see our lovely remodeled facility. The City of Rio Vista will be hosting an open house ceremony with ribbon cutting from 3-5 p.m.
